Adenike Ojo
Talent Manager
What I do at citizenM
At citizenM, we don’t just hire people, we welcome characters, dreamers, doers, and everyday legends. My role as a Talent Manager is to find those brilliant humans who bring more than just skills to the table - they bring heart, energy, and a whole lot of personality.
I spend my days connecting with people, having real conversations. It’s not about box-ticking or cookie-cutter CVs. It’s about potential, curiosity, kindness, and the magic that happens when someone truly feels like they belong.
I work closely with our teams to make sure every new citizen is set up to grow, thrive, and bring their whole self to work, from day one. Because here, we believe work should feel like a place you want to be, not just have to be.
So yeah, my role? I find good humans and help them do great things. Simple as that.
Who am I?
I’m a hospitality enthusiast from Nigeria with 6 years of experience in traditional hospitality, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring my journey to citizenM! I started my career as an ambassador and have now found my groove in Talent, where I get to connect with brilliant individuals and help build an amazing team.
Every step has been an adventure, and I love how citizenM lets me mix my experience with something a little different, something that’s all about creating connections that matter.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me lost in a good book or indulging my creative side. Whether it’s painting, decorating a space, or getting my hands dirty with pottery.
Advice for prospective candidates
This process is as much about us getting to know you as it is about you getting to know us. We’re not after perfection, we’re after real people. So, come as you are,
Speak human – we're not into robots, just awesome personalities. Be real, be clear, be you.
Ask questions - curiosity looks good on you.
