How long will it take to hear back?

You will receive an email to confirm we’ve got your application (please check your spam if you haven’t yet). We try to reply to all applications within one week.

How long is the hiring process?

This varies depending on the role and number of applications. Usually, it takes between two – five weeks.

I’ve applied. What happens next?

For support office roles, our talent acquisitions team will do their best to give you feedback within two weeks.

For hotel roles, our talent scouts will call you within one week if we feel you’re a good fit. We go off your application so send something that reflects you. All personalities are welcome. 

Up next is our famous ‘casting day’ where we bring together a diverse group of people for an energetic workshop. It’s a time to share stories, do assignments and collaborate in teams. We’re looking for people who match our values and are naturally caring. If we say YES, the final step is a conversation with one of our hotel managers.

What should I wear to my interview?

Come as you are. Maybe you think best in a three-piece suit; maybe you have a favourite t-shirt and jeans combo – we're happy as long as you’re comfortable.

I wasn’t chosen last time. Can I apply again?

Yes! Apply again. If it’s for the same role, we suggest you work on any feedback we previously shared and gain some extra experience. If it’s for a different role, go ahead – just check the requirements beforehand.

What do my first few days look like?

All support office citizens go through an immersion – our two-day classroom-based training. During immersion, we’ll cover our company history, culture, values and more. In the office, there is a specific office and IT training followed by a training plan for your specific role. 

In the hotels, new starters go through a three-month immersion program following the culture training. The program covers hands-on barista, food and beverage, cocktail, and system training – plus much more! A citizenM buddy will be close by to guide you. You’ll be fully paid for this training.

Do you support new starters when relocating?

We want the best global talent. If that means moving an employee from one part of the world to another, we’ll support them with our relocation packages. If you require a visa for the country you are applying for, this depends on the role.

How do I make an accessibility request?

Where can I learn about opportunities for students?

Every year, there are internships available for each department at the support office. The internships round opens up for applications twice per year, in March & October, for internships starting in January and September respectively.  In the hotels, there are selected internships available in selected hotels.
